Founded in 1992 by J. Seward Johnson, Jr., grandson of the Johnson & Johnson founder, Grounds For Sculpture was established on the former site of the Trenton Speedway. Johnson envisioned a place where contemporary sculpture could be accessible to the public in a welcoming garden setting.
